Frequently asked questions

Where is my file stored during registration?

On the HUVRA server, with each file encrypted under its own key. You choose whether the file is shown on the verification page.

Can I change my declaration later?

No. The declaration is signed and entered into the chain, and it is stored with the version of the standard it was made under. If you made a mistake, you withdraw the record and open a new one. The withdrawal is also logged.

I used AI. Can I still register?

Yes. A transparent Origin Disclosure Record is created as D1 or D2. It is not a human-created certificate and does not receive the Human Origin Seal.

What is the difference between technical assistance and a generative contribution?

What counts is what the tool does, not which tool it is. If it corrects, filters or translates existing content, it is technical assistance (H2). If it creates new, meaningful content in the work, it is a generative contribution (D1 or D2).

What happens if a record is revoked?

The verification page shows the status “Revoked” and the seal is no longer active. Earlier records are not deleted.

What is the difference between the Declaration, Reviewed and Audited levels?

At the Declaration level, your signed statement is recorded without independent review. At the Reviewed level, an evaluator examines your evidence and gives a reasoned decision. At the Audited level, a volunteer auditor from outside HUVRA verifies the whole process.

What happened to my old (v0.1) record?

It has not changed. It appears as “HUVRA Standard v0.1 — Historical Record,” with its original class and declaration. You can request a reassessment under the current standard; that creates a new record and a new decision.

Who can request an evidence package?

Anyone can send a reasoned request. An administrator reviews it. If it is approved, the package is sent only to the requester, and the action is logged.

Who can do what in a company account?

Owners and admins invite members and set up teams. Members register works on behalf of the company. Viewers can only look.

How long does the Reviewed level take?

The target is 15 business days, and it may take longer depending on workload. A paid review does not guarantee a positive result.

Can I object to a record?

Yes. You can object by verifying your identity and giving a specific reason and evidence. The process is described on the Assurance page. An anonymous report alone does not start a process.

Does paying buy a higher level of humanness?

No. All records are assessed against the same criteria. The fee affects only the review effort and the scope of service. There is no refund if a record is rejected, and no extra privilege if it is approved.

Is there two-factor authentication?

Yes. You can turn it on from the security page with an authenticator app.
