About
HUVRA is an independent initiative that protects the origin, the creative decisions and the production process of human-made work.
Why we exist
How a work was made is usually not visible from the outside. A work that looks good does not show that a person made it. Using AI is not a crime either; the problem is that the use stays unclear and “I made this” comes without proof.
What we do
We keep the work in an encrypted vault, record a signed declaration about how it was made, review the evidence according to the chosen level, and publish the result as a record that anyone can verify. A record states only what it actually proves.
The Standard
The standard does not offer a percentage measurement, because there is no universal, reliable method for measuring what share of a work was produced by AI. Instead, it looks at who determined the creative content and uses five origin classes. Details
What HUVRA is not
- A detector. It does not produce a score or a percentage.
- An assessment of people. Certification concerns the work, not a person's worth as a human being or their identity as an artist.
- A copyright office or a notary. It does not grant copyright and does not perform a public function.
- A quality or accuracy audit. It records creative origin; it does not assess the quality or factual accuracy of the work.
Our limits
HUVRA's view is a philosophical and institutional position; it is not presented as a settled legal ruling or a scientifically proven universal fact. We have no legal authority yet. Third-party review takes place only at the Audited level, by volunteer auditors from outside the HUVRA team. A certificate is an assessment based on the evidence submitted, not an absolute guarantee.
Who uses it
- Creators put the process behind their work on record.
- Agencies and brands show the origin of the work they deliver.
- Festivals, galleries and publishers ask for a record number with each submission.
- Audiences reach the record through a QR code.
